With that, the visitors of John Legends (44) Probably not counting the concert: while the singer was performing his best songs on stage, he suddenly burst out – he and his wife Chrissy Teigen (37) have become parents again!
As reported by 'People', among other things, the musician is said to have had this great news in his luggage during a private concert. So he revealed that his baby was born on the morning of January 13th - just a few hours before his gig! 'What a blessed day,' John rejoiced. The new dad also explained that he 'didn't get much sleep' but felt 'energetic' after spending 'a lot of time' with his wife in the hospital.
While both the 44-year-old and Chrissy have not yet spoken out about the baby news on social media, concert-goers have done so via Twitter. 'John Legend just told us he had a baby this morning,' one fan wrote.
Further details about the youngest family member are not yet known. What is certain, however, is that the couple could hardly be happier. It was only in October 2020 that Chrissy and John had to cope with a heavy blow of fate. They had to decide against their unborn child and so little boy Jack was born dead after an abortion at 20 weeks gestation. 'Two years ago, when I was pregnant with my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions,' the model recalled. 'Let's call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance.”
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are already Parents of four-year-old Miles Theodore and his older sister Luna Simone (6) – and of course Baby Jack will always be part of the family. (dga)
