Bastian Bielendorfer refunded the ticket price of a viewer of his comedy show - because he doesn't want to make money with her! With this action, the comedian landed in the headlines a few days ago. Because the woman complained about part of his show, in which the 38-year-old spoke out clearly against right-wing extremists. With the stern the ex-'Let's Dance' candidate has now spoken again about the incident. For him it is clear: 'I just don't want to earn money with people with such ideas and this background.' We show the interview and Bastian's clear statement in the video above.
'I don't think anyone with a heart in their chest and a brain in their head could wish for right-wing extremists to have a say in this country again.' Bastian Bielendorfer received applause from 1198 people in the hall for this statement. But one viewer didn't like the sentence at all. She complained to and about him online, which the 38-year-old didn't want to let sit. In an interview, he now explains: 'On your site there were posts like 'If the traffic light fails, then it's right before left'. When I then replied that she represented right-wing ideas, she strongly contradicted me. I offered her a refund of the ticket price.”
In the end, that's exactly what he did. But that's not all. On top of that, the comedian donated ten times the ticket price to the refugee aid of the German Red Cross.
'This is my show, this is my microphone, this is my stage,' the comedian makes clear in the interview. That is why he will continue to voice his opinion loudly: 'If that means that now on my tour, which is fortunately sold out, people like that won't come and return their tickets, then there's room for others that I might prefer to have there.'
The viewer has now threatened him with a lawsuit. But 'so far it hasn't come,' says Bastian. He is relaxed about the situation anyway: 'It tends to be silly for them because I haven't done anything that could be legally prosecuted.'
The 38-year-old is certain: he will continue to fight against the right. 'And if you don't like it, go home.'
