Der Bergdoktor: ZDF postpones the dramatic season finale

Season 16, in which “Bergdoktor” Martin Gruber (played by His Seal (53)) once again has to reconcile difficult patients and his even more complicated private life. But just now, as the season moves towards its dramatic finale, the news bursts in that ZDF is postponing the finale!

But what is the reason that loyal fans of the popular ZDF series (including with Mark Keller (57) and Ronja Forcher (26)) being held in suspense for the finale of all things? A program change! Because on Thursday, February 16, 2023, the day on which the eighth and last episode would actually run, is Weiberfastnacht. And on this important day of the carnival season, ZDF decided to broadcast “Kölle Alaaf – The Girl Meeting”. The Bergdoktor final will therefore only take place a week later, on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Der Bergdoktor: Fans in Austria watch the season 16 finale before fans in Germany!

Incidentally, 'Bergdoktor' fans in Austria are not affected by the program change. Unlike the German viewers, they don't look into the tube, because ORF2 shows the last episode 'Der Weg zurück' quite regularly and therefore already on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
