For years, Princess Kate (41) has been committed to early childhood education. For her first public solo performance of the year, she has now also chosen a day care center. Kate attended Foxcubs Nursery in the English town of Luton.
A short clip on the official Instagram account of Kate and her husband, Prince William (40), shows, among other things, how the 41-year-old happily plays and does handicrafts with the children or talks to the carers. 'Excellent early childhood settings like this play a huge role in positively shaping a child's development,' the post reads. The staff would work closely with the children's parents in the day care center.
Focus on children instead of Harry's autobiographyKate presented herself as usual radiant and relaxed during the visit. According to British media reports, the hustle and bustle surrounding Prince Harry's (38) autobiography 'Reserve', which was published on January 10, was not noticeable. Harry hadn't put his brother William in a good light in the book.
In a guest article in Britain's The Telegraph last November, Kate wrote that she had spoken to many experts about social problems such as mental and physical health over the past ten years. 'If we want to create a healthier and happier society for future generations, we must begin by understanding and acknowledging the unique importance of the first five years of life,' she said.
Kate is a mother of three herself and has daughter Charlotte, 7, and sons George, 9, and Louis, 4, with William.
