When is the Queen's funeral?

Queen Elizabeth II's funeral will be on Monday 19 September 2022. The funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. local time (i.e. 12 p.m. German time). Before that, the Queen's coffin is carried in a procession from the British Parliament to Westminster Abbey. Until Sunday, September 18, 2022, the public can say goodbye to their Queen in the British Parliament building. She was laid out there 23 hours a day for four days.

A 'Point 12 Special - Last Honor for the Queen - The World Says Goodbye to Elizabeth II' begins at 9 a.m., followed by 'Exclusive Special' at 3 p.m. The TV broadcast ends at 6:45 p.m.
