They are probably the most famous emigrants from Germany: Equestrian (67) and Manu Reimann (54) . Participation in the docu-soap “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants' would change the life of the family so much, they probably never dreamed. Today they lead a carefree life in Hawaii. We reveal how much money the TV family has today.
The success story of the family of four began in 2004 when Manu won a green card. Shortly thereafter, Konny, Manu and the children Janina (35) and Jason (32) were accompanied by the 'Goodbye Germany' team on their way from Hamburg to Texas. There, the trained refrigeration system engineer built a holiday resort with three guest houses on 'Konny Island' and gained a foothold in the USA. The property has now been sold.
At the end of 2015, the emigrant family moved to the Hawaiian island of O'ahu and built another 'Konny Island' with apartments. A week for two people costs around 1,000 euros. You can also buy Konny's famous sauces and numerous fan articles on the holiday resort's homepage.
'Konny Island' is just one of many sources of income for the iconic North German and his wife. The Reimanns have had their own TV show “The Reimanns – an Extraordinary Life” since 2013. According to research by Vermögens Magazin, the family was able to build up a fortune of around three million euros with the series, many other TV formats and some advertising deals, for example for rice pudding, grilled sausages or handicraft items.
In May 2020 Konny started the YouTube channel 'ReimannsLIFE' together with Manu, which currently has around 80,000 subscribers. In the reality TV series 'Welcome to the Reimanns', the emigrants show exciting insights into their life in Hawaii.
