Frankie Muniz: 'I still have a lot to learn and I know it'

According to 'People', Muniz was inspired to change careers by the birth of his first child in March 2021. Literally, the star explained that he wanted his son Mauz to grow up 'watching me pursue my dreams and work hard for something that is close to my heart'. In his new career as a professional racing driver, Muniz says he 'still has a lot to learn' that he knows. However, he intends to 'give 100 percent'.

The former 'Malcolm in the Middle' star Muniz has already gained experience on racetracks in the past. After attending NASCAR races with his family as a child, he raced in the 2006 Formula BMW USA Championship and from 2007 to 2009 in the Champ Car Atlantic Championship. After a long break, Muniz has been taking part in car races again irregularly in the past two years.

In the legendary sitcom 'Malcolm in the Middle', the former child star embodied the highly talented title character from 2000 to 2006 and alongside Bryan Cranston (66) in 151 episodes. Muniz is also known from the child-friendly spy comedies 'Agent Cody Banks' (2003) and 'Agent Cody Banks 2: Mission London' (2004).
