According to the US gossip portal 'TMZ', Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter (42) is said to have recorded a very special memorial song for his brother Aaron Carter (1987-2022), who died in November. The star has already spread relevant hints on social networks in the past few days. For example, Nick posted a mysterious clip on Instagram in which he sadly looks down. The post is accompanied only by the date '1-11-23'. This suggests that Aaron Carter's farewell song may be out as early as January 11th.

According to TMZ, Nick expresses his unconditional love for brother Aaron in his new song. A music video is also said to have been made, which includes never-before-seen footage of Nick and Aaron when they were younger.

Nick and Aaron Carter shared a complicated brotherly relationship. Although Nick even obtained a restraining order against his younger brother in 2019, he commemorated the late Aaron with an emotional Instagram post just days after his death. This also showed moving youthful pictures of the two musicians and began with the words 'My heart is broken'.

Nick's brother Aaron Carter was only 34 years old. He was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California on November 5. The cause of death has not yet been finally clarified. Aaron Carter has struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues in recent years. In 2019, he made it public on US television that he had suffered from anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, manic depression and multiple personality disorders.
