A bit of green is a must: indoor plants simply make your home more beautiful! But caring for plants properly can be a challenge, especially for beginners. These seven growths are also suitable for everyone who does not have a green thumb.

The Monstera is a classic living room plant that spreads a visual jungle flair. If a shady place and regular watering is provided, the Monstera already feels comfortable. It is therefore ideal for anyone who wants an uncomplicated plant in the room.

The spider plant is also widespread in the rooms and apartments of this world. It belongs to the asparagus family. The spider plant is a popular sight in a hanging basket that can be placed decoratively in the room. Unlike the Monstera, the spider plant prefers warm sunlight.

The dragon tree knows how to visually freshen up the living room or study. It is also easy to care for for those who do not have to deal with plants all the time. In winter it doesn't need much water. Due to its growth, however, it has to be repotted occasionally.

Yucca palms are also robust and easy to care for. It is originally native to the sunny areas of Central America. So it only needs a little water. In fact, the yucca palm is not a palm tree in the strict sense. Like the spider plant, it belongs to the asparagus family.

The colorful flowers of the Christmas cactus can be seen in December. With its colorful existence, it is ideal for spreading the mood in the living room during the cold season. In fact, it is actually native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil. It is also suitable for beginners because it likes to grow in peace. A little water may only be added occasionally.

The money tree is known by a variety of names, for example as a penny tree or thick leaf. Thoughts of unforeseen wealth should get its owners out of their heads. But the easy-care plant is extremely decorative. The money tree likes the sun, but needs comparatively little water.

Despite the beautiful flowers, the amaryllis requires little care. Similar to the money tree, it likes to stand in bright places. The onion-like plant should be watered regularly. Then it is happy and unfolds its beautiful flowers. (spot on/lra)
