Priyanka Chopra has warned that the world is at a 'tipping point' when it comes to climate change.

The 40-year-old actress addressed the United Nations on Monday (September 19) on the 2022 Sustainable Development Goals and announced that the world is 'not all right' after the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the Hollywood star believes that the crises 'can be reversed' with a plan. The actress announced in her speech, which was published on YouTube: 'We gather here today at a critical juncture in our world, at a time when global solidarity is more important than ever. As countries continue to battle the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, while lives and livelihoods depend on the climate crisis, while conflict lingers and poverty, displacement, hunger and inequality are shattering the foundations of a fairer world we fought so long to create. All is not well with our world. These crises are no accident, they can be resolved with a plan.' The 'Quantico' actress - who is married to former Disney Channel celebrity Nick Jonas and has seven-month-old daughter Malti Marie with him - explained also that the 'plan' has been in existence for seven years and that we now have the 'extraordinary opportunity” to change something. 'We have this plan, the UN goals for sustainable development, we have a to-do list for the world. These goals were created in 2015 together with people around the world; together we have an extraordinary opportunity to change the world we live in,' revealed Chopra.
