Prince George and Princess Charlotte will attend Queen Elizabeth's funeral at Westminster Abbey.

The monarch died on September 8 at the age of 96 after a 70-year reign, and both Prince George, 9, and his seven-year-old sister Princess Charlotte - who are the children of William, Prince of Wales, and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales are - will reportedly walk behind their great-grandmother's coffin on Monday (September 19). Prince Louis (4), the youngest son of the royal couple, should not be there.

According to The Guardian, King Charles - who automatically ascended to the throne once his mother died - and his wife Queen Consort Camilla will walk right behind the coffin, with the young royals running after their grandparents. Further reports have claimed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be followed by Anne, Princess Royal - the daughter of Her late Majesty and her late husband Prince Philip - with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. After this comes the Duke of York, followed by the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and then the Prince and Princess of Wales.

However, four-year-old Prince Louis - who is Willam and Catherine's youngest child - will reportedly not attend the funeral at all. Before the service - which is scheduled to begin at 11am and last an hour - the tenor bell will be rung every minute for 96 minutes and the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr. David Hoyle will then say in The Bidding: 'Here, where Queen Elizabeth was married and crowned, we gather from across the country, from the Commonwealth and from the nations of the world, to mourn our loss, to remember her long life of selfless service.”
