The rock and soul legend passed away on May 25th Tina Turner (†83). A first statement said she 'passed away peacefully after a long illness.' There were no further details for the time being – until now. Her cause of death is now clear.
Tina Turner's cause of death has been determined
The British 'Daily Mail' has now also reported the cause of death of the 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll'. Turner's press representatives told the newspaper that the singer died of natural causes.
On May 24, Turner's spokesman had declared : 'Tina Turner, the 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll', passed away peacefully at her home in Küsnacht near Zurich at the age of 83 after a long illness.' however not specified.

She had had health problems for decades
Turner has repeatedly struggled with serious health problems in recent years. The singer and eight-time Grammy award winner has suffered from high blood pressure for decades. In 2017 she received a kidney transplant. Her second husband, the German music producer Erwin Bach (67), donated the organ to her.
